It's that time of year when running a simple errand to the supermarket or a mall might land you in the path of a Girl Scout trying to sell you cookies. We've all been there. It's hard to say no, and the Girl Scouts won't think any less of you if you do, but one mom of a scout says a simple "no, thank you" is the only thing you should say to a Girl Scout. Sometimes people feel compelled to give an excuse for not buying cookies, but Nicole Romanella O'Neal says there are certain things you should not say to the girls. These include:
- Mentioning your diet
- Talking about calories
- Pointing out your body flaws
- Narrating out loud why you aren't buying the cookies because "you'll eat the whole box"
- Asking which cookies are the healthiest
