Tropical Storm Bertha has formed off the coast of the Carolinas, becoming the season's second named storm before the official start of the Atlantic hurricane season.
The storm, which has sustained winds of 45 miles per hour, is located off the coast of South Carolina and will move onshore today and continue inland dumping heavy rain. Bertha is expected to weaken to a tropical depression tonight and move into Virginia. (Weather.com)
