Shaheed is a former Hip Hop Artist turned On-Air Talent from Virginia Beach, Virginia. His career started when he attended Wright State University in Fairborn, Ohio hosting The Illegal Mixtape Radio Show on WWSU 106.9. His goal was to get his music and his group R.N.S. the radio play they needed. So Shaheed knows what it’s like for music artist trying to make it in the industry.


In 2015, Shaheed graduated from Virginia State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications and Broadcast Journalism.


In 2016, he won Best New Radio Personality at the Tidewater Association of Broadcasting. Shaheed hosted several events with celebrities like Troy Ave, Wale, Fabulous and Karlie Redd in attendance as special guest.


One of the reasons Shaheed has had longevity in the industry is his involvement with the communities he worked in. Through his foundation SMG, LLC he helped raised $10,000 in cash and supplies for hurricane relief. Shaheed supports small businesses in the community because he believes that they are the lifeline and pulse of the city.
