According to TMZ, a judge has required the 28-year-old singer to hand over $301,500 to the company after he allegedly failed to pay for nine pieces of jewelry in 2016. Kingston reportedly took watches, necklaces, chains, and rings from Aqua Master after he put down a $1,000 deposit. The jeweler claims Kingston had promised that his business manager would wire the rest of the money at a later time; however, Aqua Master said the balance was never paid.
Court documents state the company did receive two checks from Kingstonโs company Time is Money in 2016, but they were unable to cash the checks due to โinsufficient funds.โ Aqua Master claimed Kingston did not appear to make legitimate effort to pay them back, so they pursued legal action.
