Monday Movers will bring you the best new releases in the world of hip hop and R&B from the last week.  Stay up on the best content from both household names, and some you may not know.

.

Gambino 's follow up to the transcendent video for "This Is America" comes in the form of an animated summer wonderland with "Feels Like Summer."  He continues to set the standard for creativity in the world of visuals in his video that includes imagery such as Drake chasing Future who rides off on what seems to be his bike and a crying Kanye donned in a MAGA hat being consoled by Michelle Obama.

.

Chance continues to slay feature after feature in what seems to be the leadup to his next release.  This standout verse on "Idea" comes from the Chicago group The Oh My's new project "Tomorrow."

.

An Eminem song that came out in 2018 and isn't horrible?  Count me in off of the rarity of that occurrence in itself.  Joyner's trademark fast paced flow next to Em's serves as a nice complement on a pleasant surprise from an otherwise forgettable project.

.

I knew this one was going to be great when I first heard Joey Purp perform it at South By Southwest this past year, and I finally got my confirmation with the release of "QUARTERTHING" this past weekend.  The intro track proves to be a good representation of the high quality found in Joey's best project to date.

.

The UK based Jazz group Ezra Collective reached out to one of R&B's newest superstars in Jorja Smith for the smooth new track "Reason In Disguise."

.

OVO's R&B duo Majid Jordan resurfaced with two new tracks this past weekend, my favorite being the eclectic "Spirit."

.

Young Dolph's trademark topheavy flow sets the tone fin his in your face new track "Major."

.

Sacramento's Mozzy is another one of those artists who has been making music for a minute now and seems to be really finding his footing in 2018.  He turns his style back to his gritty earlier days with his new cut "Not Impressive."

.

YoungBoy NBA continued his 2018 rise with this hitter featuring Young Thug and Quando Rondo off of his new "4Loyalty" EP.

.

Young M.A. continues to make her case for Queen of NY, and of the industry, with her new video for "Wahlinn."
