Marco Borges Talks Plant Based Diets, Intermittent Fasting + New Book

 
 

Marco Borges stopped by The Angie Martinez show to talk about his new book "The Greenprint", how to eat a more plant-based diet + More!

As he was walking into the studio for the interview Marco had just found out that his book is now officially currently the #1 best selling diet book in the country as well as #2 overall best-selling book in the country, right behind Michelle Obama's "Becoming: Michelle Obama". According to his website the purpose of his new book is:

Part of the reason why he created this book isn't that he wants people to switch to a completely plant-based diet, but rather they lean towards one in hope of living a healthier life. "We live in a world where we think we have to be perfect at everything", speaking on how he doesn't believe people need to strive to be perfect, but even the littlest changes can change the way you feel and live. 

Before leaving the show he left us with one quote to think about when you are choosing what to eat:  "Every time u put something in your body you're either fueling disease or feed your health"
