Childish Gambino admitted that he suffered a stroke that led him to cancel his tour last year.

The rapper-actor, born Donald Glover, revealed the shocking news to fans during his set at Camp Flog Gnaw in Los Angeles on Saturday night, November 23. Glover explained that he was in the middle of his "New World Tour" when he experienced pain in his head. He said he was about to do a show in Louisiana when the pain started, but he performed anyway.

"I couldn't really see well," Glover explained. "So when we went to Houston, I went to the hospital and the doctor was like 'You had a stroke.'"

"The first thing I thought was like 'Oh here I am still copying Jamie Foxx," he continued. "That was really the second thing. The first thing was like 'I'm really letting everybody down.'"

Glover recalled how his other medical incidents caused him to cancel shows. He remembered how he broke his foot before a show in Ireland, which forced him to cancel the gig. Glover also revealed that doctors found a hole in his heart and that he had to have surgery to fix it.

“I always promise Ireland I'm gonna be there, and I still haven't been, and they found a hole in my heart, so I had to do surgery, and then I had to have another surgery," he said.

The "3005" rapper canceled his world tour last fall. At the time, he told fans that he had to "focus on my physical health for a few weeks," but didn't reveal exactly what happened.
