Chance The Rapper spent several days in Miami giving fans an intimate preview of his long-awaited album Star Line.

The Chicago rapper brought his "Writings On The Wall" event to South Florida last week, December 3 - December 6, during Art Basel in Miami. Upon entering Wynwood Studios, fans were greeted by all the art he debuted with songs like "YAH Know" and "The Highs & The Lows" with Joey Bada$$. Guests were then invited into a large, dark room with plenty of beanbag chairs, black headphones and a "Star Line" composition book. Chance encouraged fans to write their feelings about the album in the books during the listening experience.

"It's basically a listening party for my album," Chance told 103.5 The Beat's Papa Keith. "It's unreleased music. All new songs but as you can see there's an audio/visual element to it. It's basically an immersive listening experience."

As soon as the first song began, Chance's lyrics came to life on the wall through projectors pointed on each side of the room. Fans were seen scribbling their thoughts into their composition books while each song played all the way through. Chance didn't disclose the tracklist during the two-hour session, but fans noticed the stand-out collaborations with the likes of Smino and Lil Wayne. In addition to unreleased music, guests also got to see two never-before-seen music videos for "Water" and "Will," which is inspired by Will Smith's life and career.

After the listening experience ended, Chano sat down with each crowd and answered questions about the album. One fan asked when the album would finally arrive. Chance didn't reveal an exact date but he did say he wants to release it in spring 2025. The event in Miami was the culmination of the series of events Chance and his team have hosted across the country. He plans to keep bringing his event and gallery to more cities in the New Year.

At the end of the session, Chance asked fans to leave any notes behind for him to read. The results have been nothing short of amazing. Check out some of the notes fans wrote and see an exclusive interview with Chance below.
