What a week's it's been for Tekashi 6ix9ine.

First, the rapper's music video was shot up. Then he inserted himself into Cardi B and Nicki Minaj's squashed feud. And now it's been reported that the "FEFE" rapper's former friend, and ex-crew member, Anthony Jamel Ellison, was arrested and indicted in connection to his July kidnapping and robbery.

According to TMZ, Anthony was arrested on a federal warrant on November 6. He was charged with one count of conspiracy to obstruct commerce by robbery, one count of obstructing commerce by robbery, and one count of carrying a firearm to commit a crime.

Anthony and an additional suspect are being accused of pistol-whipping, kidnapping, and robbing Tekashi. As previously reported, the "STOOPID" rapper was dragged out of an SUV, pistol-whipped, and taken to his home where he was robbed of $750K in jewelry and $15K in cash back in July, TMZ reported at the time.

Immediately following the incident, 6ix9ine told TMZ he believed it was an "inside job," saying he would never "set up a publicity stunt and lose close to a million dollars."

Law enforcement is reportedly calling the incident a revenge crime, saying the two had "real beef," given Anthony's past history with the 6ix9ine. Anthony was once part of the "BILLY" rapper's management crew. He was reportedly fired after Tekashi's infamous fight at LAX in February.  Sources told the site that the former crew member was very involved with 6ix9ine's early career and believed he should have been paid more for his work. Despite his firing, an insider told the site that the alleged retaliation, Tekashi's kidnapping, was about money, not so much him losing his job.

The second suspect, who sources claimed tied Tekashi during the kidnapping, is also said to have possibly had the same motive.

Anthony is currently awaiting trial in a federal prison in Manhattan. He's pled not guilty to the charges.
